Maths

In our Maths curriculum calculation is taught, practised, practised and practised. The children can then apply these skills to problems which help them to reason mathematically and solve increasingly complex problems. These skills are transferable to everyday situations where Maths is seen as an integral part of life. Whilst ultimately wanting the children at Fairfield to be successful when working mathematically, we also want them to enjoy the subject and appreciate beauty and power of Mathematics as well as the connections both across the Maths curriculum but also with other subjects.
