We value parental support and collaboration for the benefit of our students at Fairfield. Through our Leading Parent Partnership initiatives, we aim to enhance existing relationships and involve parents in various ways:
Open Door Policy: We maintain an open-door policy for effective communication.
Home School Agreement: An annual agreement signed by teachers, parents and pupils.
Communication Channels: We use Twitter, SchoolPing and the school website for regular updates.
Parental Involvement: Parents are welcome to assist in classes, engaging in activities like reading, sewing, and art supervision.
Parents’ Mornings: Regular sessions for English, Maths, and Christmas decoration mornings foster collaboration.
Homework Program: Structured tasks encourage parent-child collaboration at home.
Supportive Materials: Information is provided to support learning at home.
Addressing Concerns: Parents are encouraged to promptly communicate any concerns for the well-being of their child.
We facilitate engagement through well-attended parents’ evenings, invitations to performances and musical events and special theme activities such as decoration mornings and sports day, where parents are invited to join their children.
