The pupil premium is additional funding that is given to schools to address the inequalities between children eligible for free school meals and their peers. The aim of the funding is to close the gap in both attainment and progress between those students eligible for pupil premium and their peers.
We assess the impact of the measures in place by termly data analysis and the use of a deprivation tracker. The Pupil Premium strategy is reviewed during the Summer Term by the Senior Leadership Team. Please see the reports below which detail the funding received and how it has been spent at our school.
Our Pupil Premium provision is closely monitored and the measures we have introduced are making sure that our Pupil Premium pupils are developing well and we continually aim to narrow that gap.
