At Fairfield, we believe that children do best when school and home work together. We make sure parents feel welcome, informed, and involved in school life. We aim to achieve this through:

Easy Communication

We have an open-door approach so parents can speak to staff when they need to. We share news and updates through Weduc (Reach More Parents) and our school website.

Shared Expectations

Each year, parents, pupils, and teachers sign our Home School Agreement. This helps everyone understand how we can support each other.

Parents in School

Parents are invited to help in class with activities like reading, sewing, art, and other practical tasks. We also run Parents’ Mornings for English, Maths, and special events such as Christmas decoration mornings.

Learning at Home

Our homework tasks encourage children and parents to work together. We also provide information to help families support learning at home.

Raising Concerns

If parents have any worries about their child, we encourage them to talk to us straight away so we can help.

Events and Celebrations

We enjoy welcoming families to parents’ evenings, school performances, musical events, sports day, and other special activities throughout the year.
