A Very Warm Welcome to Fairfield Preschool
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum framework in order for your child to build skills in all seven areas of learning. This then readies them with the foundations for starting Reception and beyond.
Learning is personalised, and our excellent staff are dedicated to observing and stimulating each child’s development, interests, and progress, alongside nurturing your child’s social development and building independence.
We believe that education starts in the home so we look to encourage families to form good relationships with us at our setting. We involve parents in their child’s development every step of the way.
Having our preschool alongside a primary school offers several benefits:
Smooth Transition: Children become familiar with the environment, staff, and routines early on, making the transition to primary school easier and less stressful.
Continuity in Education: Staff better understand each child’s learning journey from preschool through primary school, allowing for more personalized and consistent support.
Aligned Curriculum: Preschool and primary school staff collaborate to ensure that the early years curriculum aligns well with what children will encounter in primary school, supporting a cohesive educational experience.
Early Identification of Needs: Having educators who can observe a child over multiple years allows for early identification of learning or developmental needs, enabling timely interventions.
We welcome any families to come and look around our preschool and talk to our staff to see how we can support your child. Please book a tour below.
