A safe, secure and nuturing environment to ensure children have fun while learning, exploring and fostering friendships.
Attending our preschool offers a smooth and supportive transition into full-time education. Children become familiar with the school environment, routines and staff, which helps them feel more confident and secure when starting Reception. It also allows for continuity in their learning, as teachers can build on the relationships developed in preschool, ensuring a seamless progression and a strong foundation for future learning.
At Fairfield, we prioritise cultivating success and nurturing self-esteem in every child. In addition to the standard curriculum, we offer enriched opportunities and events that enhance skills, foster a love for learning, and integrate children into the community.
Each year, every year presents a themed performance to their families, aligning with the current class topics. We further enrich our curriculum with engaging trips to places of interest and visits from experts, such as poets/authors, YouTube filming sessions, faith and religious experiences, circus skills, museums, artists, puppet shows, and visits from championship BMW winners and former Team GB competitor. Notably, we wrap up the year with a festive outing to a traditional Christmas Panto at De Montfort Hall.
For over 50 years, we've been at the heart of our community, building strong relationships with families and creating a school where everyone feels welcome.
At Fairfield, we follow our motto, 'Learning the Fairfield Way' - making learning fun, engaging and meaningful while helping children build confidence and achieve their best. We're proud of our dedicated, hardworking staff who provide a safe, happy and inspiring environment for all our children to thrive.
We'd love for parents and families to get involved with school life - your support makes all the difference!
